16 Nigerian Boxers for Total Destruction Event on June 30

In the Total Destruction fight night, organised by DeLads Boxing Promotions and taking place within the National Institute of Sports, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos State, on June 30, sixteen Nigerian fighters will square off.

In the main event, unbeaten Lekan “The Engine” Muibi (14-0-0, 14KOs) will square off against Olanrewaju Oluwasegun (13-6-2, 12KOs) in a 10-round WABU light heavyweight title fight approved by WABU.

The co-main event will feature a super-featherweight contest between reigning National Super-featherweight champion Sikiru “Omo Iya Eleja” Shogbesan and Azeez “Captain” Lateef, who will be making his fifth professional appearance in a tough contest.

In an eight-round super-flyweight contest, current National Super-flyweight Champion Sifon “Best” Iwatt will face Nurudeen “Tallest” Salahu. This bout promises to be a thrilling encounter as Iwatt returns to the ring following his split-decision fight against Ogunyanju Sikiru in January.

Akanji Moruf and Toheeb “Full Tank” Hassan will battle in a super-featherweight clash, and since both fighters are known for their aggressive styles, it is expected to be an exciting matchup.

Animashaun “Baddo” Raheem, an unbeaten 16-year-old, will compete in a six-round super-lightweight contest against 24-year-old Ojo “O J” Arabambi. Raheem will be making his fifth professional boxing appearance against his veteran opponent, but he appears to be the favourite among the fans.

Oluwasegun Gbobaniyi will face Taye Fajimi in an eight-round super-lightweight clash, while unbeaten Emmanuel Abimbola will take on Toheed Kehinde in a lightweight contest.

Samuel “Opaogun” Moses will meet Williams “Khaki” Amosu in a super-lightweight bout, while Arinze Franklin and Toheeb Wasiu will compete in an 8-round cruiserweight clash.

21-year-old Afolabi Shittu, who has only one loss on his 13-fight record, will participate in an eight-round super-flyweight clash against an opponent yet to be announced.
