2025 CHANQ: Ghana Unveils 32-man Squad For Home-based Eagles Clash

Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, Ghana’s Black Galaxies’ head coach, has named a 32-man roster for the forthcoming pre-CHAN qualifications training camp ahead of the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers against Nigeria’s home team, Super.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced this on its website on Monday.

The camp, which begins on Monday, November 25, 2024, will be hosted at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, as the team prepares for a key two-legged qualifier against Nigeria in December.

The camping will see the players undergo intensive training which will include tactical drills, fitness sessions and training matches.

After the second week of camping between December 1-5, the team will break camp for the National elections and resume camping from December 8.

Ghana will host the first leg on Saturday, December 21, 2024 with the return leg scheduled to be played between December 27-29, 2024.

The winner over the two legs will qualify for the 2025 CHAN tournament which will be staged in Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda.

Ghana defeated Nigeria in the qualifiers for the 2023 CHAN tournament, winning via penalty shootout.
