Disu Assumes Duty As 32nd CP Of FCT Police Command

The newly appointed Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory, Olatunji Disu, has issued a stern warning to individuals intent on disrupting the peace of Abuja, urging them to reconsider their actions as his tenure will prioritize zero tolerance for crime.

In a news conference held in Abuja upon his assumption of office,  Disu acknowledged the existing security challenges in the FCT and emphasized the importance of building upon the foundational work established by his predecessors to maintain and enhance safety in the capital.

Disu outlined his commitment to employing community policing and strategic intelligence gathering as key strategies under his leadership. He expressed the intention to foster trust within the community and collaborate on innovative approaches to effectively address the security concerns impacting all residents of the Federal Capital Territory.
