President Bola Tinubu has sworn-in Senator George Akume as the new Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
George Akume in the brief ceremony which had dignitaries, including some serving and former Governors, took his Oath of Allegiance and Oath of Office.
Among those who witnessed the ceremony were Vice President Kashim Shettima; Senate President Ahmed Lawan; Kwara Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, FolasadeYemi-Esan and wife of the new SGF, Regina Akume.
