The Super Eagles squad arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, on Saturday, for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture against the Warriors of Zimbabwe on Sunday.
The players and their officials departed the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, on Friday night.
The contingent arrived at Kigali in the early hours of Saturday morning after three hours, 30 minutes flight from Uyo.
The contingent then made a two-hour road trip to the city of Butare where the Huye Stadium, venue of the game is located.
The Super Eagles will have a feel of the Huye Stadium later tonight.
After a 1-1 draw with Lesotho’s Crocodiles in Uyo on Thursday evening, Jose Peseiro vowed to face the remaining nine matches of the qualification series with a much stronger mentality, with victory in each match the only option.
Sunday’s encounter will kick-off at 2pm Nigeria time.
