Gunmen suspected to be bandits have unleashed a terror attack on Nahuche community of Bungudu Local Government Area, Zamfara State, killing seven locals and abducting scores.
According to a community source, Tasiu Nahuche, the terrorists invaded the village in the wee hours of Wednesday.
He explained that the community members were already asleep when the bandits stormed the village and started shooting sporadically.
“We were running helter-skelter to save our lives.
“Nobody can exactly say the number of people abducted,” he said.
But all efforts to get a response from the State police spokesman, Yazid Abdulahi proved abortive as of the time of filing this report.
