The apex court has dismissed the appeal filed by Aminu Bande of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to challenge the election victory of Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State.
A five-member panel of the apex court, in a unanimous judgment on Friday, dismissed the appeal by Bande Aminu, who was the candidate of the PDP in the last governorship election in the state.
Justice Uwani Abba-Aji, who read the lead judgment, held that the appeal was without merit.
