Victor Boniface, a Nigerian and Bayer Leverkusen striker, has been nominated for another Bundesliga award in Germany.
Boniface is now injured, but his nomination for finest talent of the season may lead to another prize.
According to the Bundesliga, fans have to choose which player has served the best skill in the league thus far this season.
Boniface, a Nigerian, has enjoyed a great start at Bayer Leverkusen after joining from Union Saint-Gilliose.
The 23-year-old’s outstanding form has seen him score ten goals and assist seven others, propelling Xavi Alonso’s team to the top of the Bundesliga standings.
Boniface has won four consecutive Rookie of the Month awards and could add to his collections following another nomination.
The Super Eagles striker has been listed amongst the top five for his trademark skill against high-flying RB Leipzig earlier in the season.
Per the Bundesliga website, the talented striker has scored through the school of slick skills.
The Super Eagles forward will have to face stiff competition from a star-studded lineup that includes Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, who is on loan from Premier League giants, Manchester United.
Also on the shortlist is Super Eagles-eligible star, Felix Nmecha, another player from Dortmund.
