Paris 2024: Nnadozie, Ohale, Ucheibe, Eight Others Arrive, 14 Players Now in Camp

About eleven players, including Super Falcons stars Chiamaka Nnadozie, Osinachi Ohale, Uchenna Kanu, and Christy Ucheibe, have landed in Abuja ahead of Friday’s Olympic qualifier against South Africa in Paris 2024.

On Tuesday, the Super Falcons X handle verified the player’s arrival.

The others are Linda Jiwuaku, Jennifer Echegini, Shukurat Oladapo, Deborah Abiodun, Toni Payne, Gift Monday, and Chidinma Okeke.

Following the latest arrivals, the Falcons players now in camp is 14.

On Monday, Rasheedat Ajibade, Tochukwu Oluehi and Jumoke Alani were the early birds in camp.

Still being expected are Michelle Alozie, Halimatu Ayinde, Rinsola Babajide, Esther Okoronkwo, Ifeoma Onumonu, Asisat Oshoala and Chiwendu Ihezuo

The first leg of the Paris 2024 final qualifier between the Falcons and South Africa comes up on Friday, 5 April inside the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

The second leg will be played on Tuesday, 9 April in Pretoria.

Whoever wins between the Falcons and South Africa will go into Group C, in the women’s football event of the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Other teams in the group are 2023 FIFA women’s World Cup champions Spain, former World Cup winners Japan and Brazil.
