After suffering an injury during the club’s Turkish Cup semi-final victory over Fatih Karagumruk on Wednesday night, Paul Onuachu of Trabzonspor will be fit for selection this weekend. Abdullah Avci’s team defeated their opponent 4-0 to secure a trip to the competition final.
Onuachu gave the Blue Burgundy the lead after 54 minutes.
The 29-year-old was replaced few minutes later after sustaining injury in an aerial duel.
Avci said the injury sustained by the lanky hitman is not serious.
“We learned that it is not a serious condition, it is a spasm-like condition. I think he will be ready by the end of the week,” Avci was quoted by Taka Gazette.
Trabzonspor will battle Besiktas in the cup final as they aim for their tenth triumph.
They last won the cup competition in the 2019-2020 season.
