UCL: Super Eagles legend hails Carlo Ancelotti and Vinicius Jr, calls them ‘Extraordinary’

In the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night, Real Madrid overturned a late deficit to upset Bayern Munich.

With the victory, Madrid moves one step closer to their 15th UCL championship, and Ancelotti is going for his fifth European medal.

Vinicius Junior was singled out by Oliseh, who said the player ought to win the Ballon d’Or for his role in ensuring Real Madrid defeated Bayern Munich in the semifinal.

On his official X account, Oliseh responded to the tantalising match by praising Real Madrid’s effort and highlighting Vinicius and Ancelotti in particular.

“Wow! Extraordinary Ballon D’or worthy Vinicius jr + extraordinary coach Carlo Ancelotti + an absolute top Real Madrid!

“Turned defeat to legendary victory in 3 Minutes !! I love Real’s non-stop variety football philosophy. A tactical blast watching Real Beat Bayern Munich.”

In the second leg at Santiago Bernabeu, the record European champions defeated the Bavarians 2-1 to secure a 4-3 aggregate victory and a spot in the final.

Bayern Munich appeared to be the team going to Wembley after Alphonso Davies’ goal in the 68th minute, but two minutes before stoppage time, the game took a dramatic change.

Joselu scored the goal two minutes after VAR intervention, but first, the substitute gave the Los Blancos a point back in the 88th minute after taking advantage of a mistake from Manuel Neuer.

Next, on June 1 at the Wembley Stadium in England, the La Liga champions will play Borussia Dortmund in the championship match.
