Mason Mount has suffered a new knee setback and will miss Sunday’s Premier League match with Arsenal.
Mount, who joined United from Chelsea for £60 million last summer, has struggled with injuries this season.
He has suffered another setback just days after making his first Premier League start since October, a 4-0 loss to Crystal Palace.
He picked up an injury in training on Thursday and United boss Erik Ten Hag has confirmed the 25-year-old will miss Sunday’s clash.
Though the England international’s niggle isn’t thought to be serious, and is expected to be fit to face Brighton on the last game of the campaign
Elsewhere, Left-back Luke Shaw has also suffered a setback in his recovery from a hamstring strain, but hope remains that he could return in time for the FA Cup final on May 25.
But there is some good news for United with Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay and Marcus Rashford in contention to return for the clash at Old Trafford.
