2026 WCQ: Caykur Rizespor Celebrate Ibrahim Olawoyin’s Super Eagles’ Call-up

The Turkish Super Lig team Caykur Rizespor feels happy over Ibrahim Olawoyin’s recent invitation to the Super Eagles, the national team of Nigeria.

Former Enugu Rangers midfielder Olawoyin was called up to replace Nathan Tella, a winger for Bayer Leverkusen, who had to withdraw from the team due to family matters.

Olawoyin has received his first call-up to the Super Eagles, who are getting ready to play South Africa and the Benin Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

“We wished success to our player Ibrahim Olawoyin, who was called to the squad of the Nigeria national team for the matches against South Africa and Benin in the 2026 World Cup African qualifier”, the club wrote on X.

The 26-year-old scored eight goals in 36 league appearances for Rizespor last season.
