Caleb Okoli said that he is delighted to have completed his transfer from Italian Serie A team Atlanta to Premier League side Leicester City.
The 22-year-old central defender Okoli has signed a five-year contract that will expire in June 2029.
‘The Foxes’ coughed out 14 million Euros for Okoli.
“I’m very happy with the choice I made, so I’m very excited to start in the Premier League,” he said.
“Now I’m here in Leicester I’m feeling ready to start with my new team.”
The Italy U21 international, who is still eligible to play for the Super Eagles, has needed more playing time at Atalanta.
Last season, he played on loan at Frosinone in the Serie A.
Okoli, who came through the Atalanta ranks, has also played on loan at SPAL and US Cremonese.
