Protests: Gov Uba Sani Denies Imposing Curfew In Kaduna

Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, has refuted reports of curfew imposition on the State following the looting of government properties in the state capital by hoodlums during the ongoing nationwide protests against hardship and hunger in the State.

In a post on his official Kaduna State Facebook page on Thursday afternoon, Governor Sani said that everything was under control.

The governor wrote, “No curfew has been imposed in Kaduna as we speak. Everything is under control.

Hoodlums who infiltrated the ongoing hardship protesters on Thursday set a portion of the Kaduna State Transport Law Authority (KASTLEA) office ablaze and carted away some properties belonging to the agency.

They also touched the headquarters of the Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA), vandalising the building.
