Veteran Nollywood actor Patrick Doyle has taken aim at singer Davido for his choice of outfit during a recent visit to the palace of Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.
The visit occurred before Davido’s performance at the ‘Warri Again’ concert in Delta over the weekend.
This incident comes just a year after former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president Amaju Pinnick filed a N2.3 billion breach of contract suit against Davido for not performing at the 19th edition of the ‘Warri Again’ event on October 6, 2023. However, it appears that Davido has resolved his legal dispute with Pinnick, as he successfully performed at the 2024 concert.
Before taking the stage, Davido attended a courtesy visit with Pinnick, singer Phyno, comedian AY Makun, and Cubana Chief Priest. Following the royal visit, Doyle expressed his disapproval, calling Davido’s attire “inappropriate” for such an occasion.
