Controversy Erupts as Rapper Speed Darlington Arrested Following Complaint from Burna Boy

In a surprising turn of events, popular lawyer and activist Deji Adeyanju has confirmed the arrest of rapper Speed Darlington, who had been missing since Friday.

According to Adeyanju’s recent posts on X, Darlington was apprehended in Lagos and subsequently transferred to the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

Details surrounding the arrest remain scarce, but Adeyanju claims it stems from a formal complaint lodged by fellow musician Burna Boy. “We just spent the last 30 minutes with Speed Darlington, and he narrated how he was arrested in Lagos last Friday, moved around, and ultimately brought to Abuja.

The petition against him was written by Burna Boy, we can confirm,” Adeyanju stated.

This development follows a dramatic accusation from Speed Darlington’s mother, who alleged that Burna Boy and his team were responsible for her son’s mysterious disappearance.

The conflict intensified after Darlington posted a video questioning the authenticity of Burna Boy’s Grammy award and insinuating ties between the singer and the embattled American artist Diddy.
