Kano SSG’s Suspension Exposes Kwankwaso’s Political Desperation – APC Chieftain

A prominent member of the All-Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Iliyasu Musa Kwankwaso, has claimed that the suspension of Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Abdullahi Bappah Bichi vindicates his stance on Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s alleged ambition.

Iliyasu Musa Kwankwaso at a press conference in Kano said “I have been vindicated over my several comments that Kwankwaso will pocket Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf due to his desperation for the 2027 presidential ambition,” Oyelere stated.

The suspension of Abdullahi Bappa Bichi by the leadership of the NNPP at point the Governor Yusuf peace efforts was being thrown to the winds has sparked concerns about Senator Kwankwaso’s influence within the NNPP.

The outspoken APC stalwart accused Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso of being economical with the truth regarding the suspension, alleging that it was orchestrated by the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) chairman, Hashim Dungurawa.

He emphasized that Kwankwaso’s actions are driven by desperation, warning Governor Yusuf to liberate himself from Kwankwaso’s political tutelage to maintain his integrity.

The former Commissioner for Rural and Community developmen advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be cautious of Senator Kwankwaso’s potential defection to the APC, which could cause internal party conflicts.

He hinted that “The suspension of SSG is just the tip of the iceberg. More notable personalities within the NNPP, perceived as Kwankwaso’s political enemies, will be shown the way out.”

The APC Chieftain further commended the contributions of politicians like Senator Kawu Sunmaila and Kabir Al-Hassan Rurum, who defected from the APC to the NNPP, for resisting dictatorship in the guise of democracy.
