The Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, has officially sworn in Musa Ikhilor as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Samson Osagie as the State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.
Both appointees, who are experienced lawyers, took their oaths of office during a ceremony on Wednesday, following their nomination by Governor Okpebholo on Tuesday.
In his address, Governor Okpebholo urged the new appointees to support his administration’s vision of delivering good governance and working for the betterment of the people of Edo State.
He emphasized the importance of their roles in contributing to the development and progress of the state.
In response, both Ikhilor and Osagie expressed their commitment to the governor’s vision. They pledged to leverage their expertise and experience to support the administration’s goals, ensuring the delivery of practical governance and serving the people of Edo State to the best of their abilities.
