Officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have commenced the distribution of voting materials to polling units for the Ondo State governorship election.
As early as 5:00 a.m., INEC officials were seen setting up at the Registration Area Centre (RAC) in Ward 4, Polling Unit 007, located at St. Stephen’s Primary School in Akure South Local Government Area.
Vehicles were on-site, ready to transport the materials to various polling units across the region.
In Okitipupa, within the Ondo South Senatorial District, INEC officials arrived at Polling Unit 006 on Isowa Street/Igbodigo Igbokoda Road at approximately 8:00 a.m.
The polling unit was also secured by a strong presence of security personnel to ensure the safety of both the materials and the voters.
