Odumodublvck Says He Doesn’t Love Music, Claims It Hasn’t Done Anything for Him

Popular Nigerian singer Odumodublvck has stirred up conversation by revealing that music has not done anything for him, despite his success in the industry. In a candid interview, the artist shared his thoughts on his relationship with his craft, emphasizing that while he considers music a reliable friend, he does not harbor any romantic affection for it.

In a controversial video shared on social media, Odumodublvck described his bond with music as one based on mutual respect, not love. He explained, “I don’t love music. But music and I are friends. I like you (music), and one thing I know about you is that you’re a stand-up guy. When you say you’re going to do something, you do it, because you meet me at the point of my contact.”

The singer continued to express that music, for him, is a reflection of the effort he invests in his work: “Whatever work you put in is what music will give you. Music doesn’t cheat anyone. But to say I now love music? NO, NO, NO, NO. Music on its own hasn’t gone out of its way to do anything for me.”

He further clarified, “It was the work that I put in that made music reciprocate, and I have no problem with that. So music should not have any problem with me telling her that I don’t love her.”
