Blackface Speaks Out on Song Theft Accusations, Says Colleagues Never Denied It

Nigerian singer Blackface has addressed the accusations that his fellow artists have stolen his intellectual property, clarifying that his claims are not made for fun. He emphasized that none of the colleagues he has accused of copying his songs have denied the allegations.
In a recent televised interview, Blackface explained that while many artists borrow his vibes and sounds, they do so because they admire his style. However, he criticized them for not giving him proper credit for his work.
“People jack my vibes. They love them. It’s not their fault. If I wasn’t me, I’d be jacking me too,” Blackface remarked. He went on to explain that all his songs are registered and become published works once released. He pointed out that once a song enters the public domain, it is considered a published work, and if another artist uses it without credit, it’s wrong.
Blackface stressed that the issue isn’t about the availability of proof but about the principle of acknowledging the original creator. He also pointed out that none of the artists he has raised concerns about have ever denied the allegations, suggesting that this lack of denial adds weight to his claims.
“These people that I’ve complained about, they have never for once denied it. So, people should recognize that there’s some truth to what I’m saying,” Blackface concluded.
