US President-elect Donald Trump has vowed to take decisive action to prevent World War III, promising to end the ongoing war in Ukraine and the turmoil in the Middle East upon assuming office. Speaking to his supporters ahead of his inauguration, Trump emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating, “I will end the war in Ukraine, I will stop the chaos in the Middle East, and I will prevent World War 3 from happening. You have no idea how close we are.”

Trump’s inauguration, scheduled to take place inside the US Capitol, marks the first time in 40 years that the event has been moved indoors due to severe weather conditions. The last indoor inauguration was held in 1985 for former President Ronald Reagan’s second swearing-in, prompted by similarly harsh winter conditions.

Acknowledging the extreme cold sweeping across the country, Trump explained, “There is an Arctic blast sweeping the country. I don’t want to see people hurt or injured in any way. Therefore, I have ordered the Inauguration Address, in addition to prayers and other speeches, to be delivered in the United States Capitol Rotunda.”
