Rangers’ January Men’s Goal of the Month award goes to Cyriel Dessers.
Dessers won the prize for his incredible goal during the Gers’ 2-1 loss to Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League at Old Trafford.
In the 83rd minute, skipper James Tavernier hit the Nigerian international with a long pass.
The 30-year-old used his body intelligently to nudge defender Harry Maguire out of the flight of the ball and, after a lovely touch on his left side, swept the ball into the bottom corner.
Dessers has been in fine form recently, contributing five goals and two assists in his last five games.
Rangers will face Queen’s Park in a Scottish Cup fifth-round tie on Sunday.
