
Luka Doncic has finally played in his first game since being singed by the Los Angeles Lakers in a surprising trade from the Dallas Mavericks.
A few hours before the five-time NBA All-Star was revealed as the Lakers’ newest addition following the historic deal, Doncic was photographed cheering on the club as they defeated the Los Angeles Clippers.
Two-time Olympic basketball gold medalist Anthony Davis and 21-year-old Max Christie switched teams when the Mavericks for the Doncic to the Lakers.
Doncic’s first purple-and-gold game against the Utah Jazz will be remembered in Los Angeles Lakers history on February 10, 2025.
Doncic didn’t have his finest stats in his first game wearing a Lakers outfit, but that makes sense given that it was his first game with new teammates.
Doncic finished with 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists in his twenty-four minutes of play.
After the game, Doncic received acknowledgement from former Barcelona superstar Ronaldinho
Ronaldinho wished Doncic well despite the new Laker, a former Real Madrid basketball team player.
He said, “Good luck on the new team.”
Doncic is expected to continue his Lakers tenure in a rematch against the Jazz.
