Naira Marley, Sam Larry, Primeboy Have No Hand in Mohbad’s Death – Court

The Magistrate Court in Sabo, Yaba, Lagos, has cleared Abdulazeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, in connection with the death of Aloba Oladimeji IleriOluwa, also known as Mohbad.

Magistrate Ejiro Kubenje, after reviewing and acting on the legal advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Lagos, concluded that there was no case for Fashola to answer.

The court also dismissed charges against music promoter Samson Balogun Eletu (Sam Larry), Owodunni Ibrahim (Primeboy), and Mohbad’s former manager, Opere Babatunde.

However, the DPP announced plans to prosecute auxiliary nurse Feyisayo Ogedengbe, who treated Mohbad, and Mohbad’s friend Ayobami Sadiq, for reckless and negligent acts under Section 251 (e) of the Criminal Law, Ch C.17, Vol.3, Laws of Lagos State, 2015.

Both individuals will be prosecuted in the Magistrate Court.
