Pastor Ituah Ighodalo Addresses Rumours of Remarriage to Kate Henshaw

Renowned clergyman and senior pastor of Trinity House Ituah Ighodalo, has dismissed circulating rumours about his alleged plans to marry Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw. Speculation about his supposed remarriage has been circulating on social media, with some even suggesting that preparations, such as Aso Ebi, are already underway for the supposed wedding.
In a trending interview on Sunday, Ighodalo laughed off the claims, explaining that he has no knowledge of any such plans. He added that the rumours are likely being spread by those benefiting from them.
“I loved my wife so much. I take each day as it comes. I don’t know what the future holds. About an Aso Ebi coming out, well, not to the best of my knowledge. The problem with social media is that people feel they can do whatever they want,” he said with a touch of humour.
“Whoever is spreading this rumour is making money from it. When they are done spreading it, they should come and pay tithe,” he quipped.
While Pastor Ighodalo did not entirely close the door on the possibility of remarriage in the future, he made it clear that his late wife, Ibidunni Ighodalo, continues to hold a special place in his heart. He expressed deep love for her and emphasized that her spirit remains with him.
Pastor Ituah was married to the late Ibidunni Ighodalo, a former beauty queen and successful event planner, who tragically passed away in June 2020. The couple had adopted two children, a boy and a girl, before her passing. Since her death, Pastor Ighodalo has devoted himself to raising their children and focusing on his ministry.
In a 2023 interview, he acknowledged that while he is open to remarriage in the future, he is in no rush, as his primary concern is his children’s well-being. He also revealed that his daughter has firmly advised him against remarrying.
“It is not possible to say I would never remarry, but if I had my way, I am okay. I am happy, and my life is not complicated. I am looking after my children, and I am doing well. I might consider it when my children are older. My daughter has also warned me not to remarry!” he shared.
Despite the rumours, Pastor Ighodalo’s focus remains on his family and ministry, with his late wife’s memory continuing to guide him in his journey.
