BUA Foods Seeks Board Approval of 2024 Audited Financial Statement

BUA Foods Plc says it will seek approval for its 2024 audited financial statements for the period ending December 31, 2024, at its Board of Directors meeting scheduled for March 27. Once approved, the company stated that the financial statements will be simultaneously submitted to the relevant regulatory bodies and made available to the public.

“In accordance with the post-listing requirements of the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) for listed companies, the closed period for the 2024 Audited Financial Statements (AFS), which began on January 1, 2025, will continue until 24 hours after the release of the 2024 AFS,” the company said.

As a result, no director, manager, staff member, or other related parties with access to sensitive information that may significantly impact the company’s stock price, or those connected to them, are permitted to trade the company’s shares, either directly or indirectly, until 24 hours after the release of the 2024 AFS to NGX and the public.

This notice was signed by the Company Secretary, Oluseye Alayande, and addressed to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
