As the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) continues its quest to reclaim political relevance in Imo State, the party’s State Chairman, John Iwuala, has declared that APGA remains the only political party in Nigeria founded on genuine ideologies with a human face.

As the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) continues its quest to reclaim political relevance in Imo State, the party’s State Chairman, John Iwuala, has declared that APGA remains the only political party in Nigeria founded on genuine ideologies with a human face.
Speaking in Owerri during a courtesy visit by the APGA Students Movement (ASM), Iwuala said the party is built on principles of humanism and egalitarianism, aimed at creating a society free from hunger, injustice, and oppression.
“APGA is the only peaceful and united party in Nigeria with human-oriented ideologies,” he said. “It was founded by individuals who cherished a progressive society devoid of hunger, anguish, racism, and autocracy.”
He expressed confidence that APGA would bounce back stronger and dominate the Southeast in the next general elections.
“APGA is youth-friendly, believes in rejuvenation, and will soon begin training and empowering young people with relevant skills,” Iwuala said, emphasizing the party’s commitment to grassroots development and youth inclusion.
He urged members of the student movement to remain ambassadors of the party across their various campuses.
“APGA runs in the blood of every Igbo breed,” he added. “With your youthful spirit and determination for a better society, APGA will soar higher and achieve more success in future elections in the South East.”
Iwuala also reassured the students that the party remains united and free of leadership crises, which he said sets it apart from other political parties in the country.
He concluded by encouraging the students to stay focused on their studies while continuing to promote the ideals of APGA.
