Ahmed Musa has returned to training with Kano Pillars ahead of their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 33 showdown against Lobi Stars this weekend.
The veteran forward had been on a spiritual trip to Saudi Arabia during the past month, which saw him miss several league and Federation Cup fixtures. He rejoined the squad in training on Wednesday as preparations ramp up for the crucial tie.
The 32-year-old has netted six goals so far this season for the Sai Masu Gida.
In contrast, midfielder Shehu Abdullahi has been ruled out of the upcoming match after missing training on Wednesday. He was granted leave to attend to personal matters and is expected to be back in action for Matchday 34 against Enyimba.
Kano Pillars currently occupy 9th place in the NPFL standings as the season enters its final stretch.
