AMVCA 2025 Nominations Announced, Uzor Arukwe, Omoni Oboli, and More Earn Recognition

The nominees for the highly anticipated 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) have been unveiled, with a host of notable actors and filmmakers making the list. The awards, which celebrate excellence in filmmaking, acting, and content creation, feature a diverse range of talent across 28 voting and non-voting categories.

Among the distinguished nominees are Uzor Arukwe and Omoni Oboli, who both received nods for their stellar performances. Arukwe was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Suspicion, while Omoni Oboli earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Wives on Strike 3.
