Anthony Joshua Advises Entertainers and Athletes: “Billionaire Status Isn’t Achieved Through Sports or Entertainment”

Nigerian-British boxer Anthony Joshua, a two-time world heavyweight champion, has shared his thoughts on attaining billionaire status, advising entertainers and athletes that fame alone will not lead to such wealth.

In a post on his Snapchat, Joshua emphasized that becoming a billionaire is not likely to happen through sports, music, or entertainment alone. He urged his peers in these industries to focus on the business side and sustainability instead of getting lost in the hype of their public personas.

“For anyone to reach billionaire status, it will not be through sports, music or entertainment,” Joshua wrote. “Don’t get lost in the hype, focus on the sustainability, books and business ethics.”

While there are a few billionaire entertainers and sports figures globally, many of them have accumulated their wealth through business ventures and endorsements. High-profile examples include Jay-Z, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, and LeBron James, as noted by Forbes.

Joshua’s message serves as a reminder for those in the entertainment and sports industries to focus on long-term business strategies if they wish to build lasting wealth.
