APC National Secretariat Buzzes with Activity Ahead of Key NEC Meeting

The National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was filled with heightened activity on Wednesday morning as party governors, top chieftains, and key stakeholders gathered for the eagerly anticipated National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.

Among the early arrivals were members of the National Working Committee (NWC), APC State Chairmen, and influential party figures such as Senator Abdulaziz Yari, former Governor of Zamfara State; Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, the former Governor of Kebbi State and Minister of Budget and National Planning; and Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu. The meeting is expected to draw even more notable figures, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Goodwill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas.

As 8:30 AM approached, the area surrounding the APC headquarters was bustling with activity. Party supporters, waving APC banners and blaring music, created a festive atmosphere in the neighboring streets. Meanwhile, tight security was evident, with agents of the Department of State Security (DSS) and other operatives stationed at strategic points to maintain order and ensure the safety of those attending the event.

The meeting of the NEC is considered a crucial moment for the ruling APC, as leaders come together to deliberate on the party’s direction, strategies, and decisions that could shape the political landscape moving forward.
