Arsenal are once again interested in Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen, according to Tv360 Nigeria.com.ng
According to Corriere dello Sport, Arsenal is willing to pay €100 million for the Nigerian international.
The deal that Osimhen signed last December has a €130 million release clause.
The expensive clause, however, has driven away potential suitors.
Arsenal are now willing to offer Napoli close to €100m plus bonuses.
The 25-year-old was top scorer in Serie A when Napoli won the Scudetto in 2023, finding the net 26 times in 32 games.
He also scored five goals in six Champions League matches for the Partenopei.
Last season, he suffered with injuries and was kept away for two months by Nigeria’s run to the Africa Cup of Nations Final, so scored only 15 in 25 Serie A appearances, plus two in six Champions League games.
