Barca to stay at Olympic stadium as Camp Nou work continues

Barcelona has confirmed that they will continue playing their home matches at the Olympic Stadium for the remainder of this season while the ongoing renovation of the iconic Camp Nou progresses. Initially, the club had hoped to return to Camp Nou before the end of this season, but those plans have been delayed.

Members of the club can now purchase tickets for the remaining La Liga and Champions League matches at their temporary home, where Barcelona has been playing since the 2023-24 season.

The renovated Camp Nou is expected to be ready for use by next season, with an initial capacity of over 60,000. However, the full expansion, set to finish in the summer of 2026, will increase the stadium’s capacity to 105,000, making it one of the largest football stadiums in the world.

The rebuilding process, which began in June 2023, has faced some delays due to permit issues and other complications, including complaints about working conditions.
