Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State has announced a Christmas break for all civil servants in the state, starting from December 24 to December 30, 2024.
This information was shared in a statement by the state’s Commissioner for Information, Orientation & Strategy, Ebiuwou Koku-Obiyai.
The statement clarified that while civil servants will enjoy the break, essential service workers are exempted and are expected to report to work as usual.
Governor Diri also expressed his gratitude to the residents of the state for their continued support and wished everyone a joyful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
