Boniface: I Won’t Leave Bayer Leverkusen This Summer

Bayer Leverkusen has said that he would not be leaving the recently crowned Bundesliga champions at the end of the season and that he is still fully dedicated to the team.

Last summer, Boniface teamed up with Die Werkself from Union St Gilloise, a Belgian professional league team.

Despite missing nearly three months of action because of an adductor injury, the 23-year-old has had a successful season with Xabi Alonso’s team.

The forward has caught the attention of a number of top clubs around Europe.

Boniface has been linked with a summer exit from the the BayArena.

He however said he is not thinking of leaving Bayer Leverkusen at the moment.

“My current focus is solely on Leverkusen, striving to aid the team in achieving further milestones. It will undoubtedly stand as one of my proudest moments ever,” Boniface affirmed to AFP.
