Brighton midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud has joined Stuttgart on loan for the rest of the season.
The Germany international joined Albion in June last year from Borussia Dortmund and has made 14 appearances in all competitions for the club.
“This is a good move for Mahmoud,” said Brighton technical director David Weir. “It will give him an opportunity to play regularly for a side doing very well towards the top of the Bundesliga.”
Stuttgart is third in the German topflight, 12 points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen. While Brighton are eighth in the Premier League.
The 28-year-old German last played for Brighton in a 1-1 draw against Burnley on 9 December.
Brighton striker Deniz Undav, who is also on loan at Stuttgart, has scored 13 goals in all competitions this season.
