Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy has announced the cancellation of his highly anticipated concert scheduled for June 9th at the Johan Cruyff Arena Stadium in the Netherlands.
Taking to his Instagram account on Thursday, Burna Boy cited the failure of the event organizers to fulfill their contractual obligations as the reason for the cancellation.
In his statement, Burna Boy expressed regret over the cancellation and assured fans that ticket buyers would be refunded promptly.
He emphasized that all refunds would be processed within 30 days from the point of purchase.
“We regret to inform you that due to a failure by the event organizers to meet their contracted obligations, Burna Boy’s concert at the stadium on June 9th, 2024, has been canceled,”
Burna Boy wrote in his Instagram post.
“All ticket buyers will be refunded from the point of purchase within 30 days. Love you and see you soon [Netherlands and love emojis].”
