COAS, Matawalle Present As Military Buries 22 Officers Killed In Niger

As family members and friends joined the rank and file of the Nigerian Armed Forces to bury some of the military soldiers who died in action in Niger State, the atmosphere at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja was solemn.

No fewer than 36 officers were killed in battle, including an air mission, on August 14, according to the Defence Headquarters (DHQ).
