The United States is the “surprise team” for the 2024 Copa America, according to Al-Hilal striker Neymar Junior.
Neymar also praised Christian Pulisic, the captain of the United States, calling him a fantastic player.
“I am familiar with Pulisic; I watched the United States vs. Brazil game, and I was really surprised by how well the U.S. team played defence and ran a lot,” Neymar remarked (via GOAL).
“[Pulisic] is a great player; he spent a long time at Chelsea. The U.S. will surprise during the Copa America.
“From what I saw in the game against Brazil, they have everything to give teams trouble.”
United States won their first game 2-0 against Bolivia at the Copa America.
