Davido Criticized Over Charity Contribution Update Amid Followers’ Loss Of $Davido Coins.

Ace musician, Davido is facing a second round of outbursts following an update on his donation to 42 charity homes, which came hours after his followers lost a considerable amount of meme coin.

This came amidst the loss incurred by the singer’s fans who invested in his meme coin, $Davido which made a huge increase a few hours after its launch but crashed by over 90% in under 24 hours.

In the thick of the never-ending outcry, Davido published a document from the Coalition of Orphanages and Children’s Homes in Nigeria (COCHIN) confirming his donation beginning in February 2024.

The letter expressed gratitude to the singer while also admitting that the monies benefited 42 of the coalition’s 52 orphanages.

While the singer’s message was intended to elicit a good response, many criticized him for using charity to conceal his cryptocurrency fraud.
