El-Rufai describes Tinubu’s government as most corrupt, dishonest

Former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has critisized President Bola Tinubu’s administration, calling it the most corrupt and dishonest in Nigeria’s history.

Speaking in an interview, El-Rufai accused the Federal Government of promoting “false propaganda” on national security, failing to address the root causes of insecurity and worsening economic conditions.

The former governor questioned the government’s claims of improved security, pointing to the continued operations of notorious bandit leaders like Dogo Gide, Mallam Abba, and Bello Turji in parts of Katsina, Zamfara, and Sokoto States.

“How many local governments are still under bandits’ control?” They keep announcing that security has improved, but the main culprits remain at large”.

“This is the worst federal government in Nigeria’s history,” El-Rufai said. “It is the most lying, most corrupt, and most intolerant government we’ve ever had”.

El-Rufai also challenged Nigerians to reflect on the cost of living and declining purchasing power.

He further revealed ongoing efforts to strengthen the Social Democratic Party (SDP), describing it as a platform to counter the alleged tyranny and incompetence of Tinubu’s government.
