Teen comedians Emmanuella and Success have officially parted ways with Mark Angel Comedy, as Mark Angel confirmed in a recent TikTok live session on Tuesday.
The split comes in the wake of a viral podcast in August, where former crew member Denilson Igwe accused Mark Angel of financial exploitation. Despite the controversy, Mark Angel, a prominent figure in Nigerian comedy, clarified that he is no longer managing the teens’ careers. He explained that due to his busy schedule, the young comedians are now under the management of a professional agency, although he emphasized that he continues to collaborate with them on various projects.
Mark Angel’s statement marked a significant shift in the trajectory of Emmanuella and Success, both of whom gained fame through their viral skits on Mark Angel Comedy’s platform.
