#EndBadGovernance: Court remands protesters two weeks imprisonment in Jigawa
Jigawa State magistrate court sitting in Dutse on Friday ordered the remand of protesters for two weeks in person.
Magistrate Auwalu Sani ordered Umar Danjani, suspected of leading violent protests in Jigawa State to be remanded in Birnin Kudu Prison for two weeks.
The peaceful protest in the state turned violent, resulting in the death of two persons, with many injured and buildings set ablaze while properties worth millions of Naira were looted across the state.
The Police Command also arrested sixty-eight, violent #EndBadGovernance protesters in Dutse, Kiyawa, Kazaure and Babura LGAs.
The command also recovered forty-nine bags of looted fertilizer, fifteen (15) bundles of mosquito nets and other valuable items.
