Nigerian music executive, Soso Soberekon lost a $10,000 bet to singer Zlatan Ibile after Spain defeated England in the UEFA Euro 2024 final on Sunday night.
In a video posted on the singer’s Instagram, Soberekon and Zlatan were seen betting $10,000 apiece on England and Spain.
But it was Zlatan who won the bet as Spain defeated England 2-1 to win a record fourth UEFA Euro title.
Recall that Spain were put in front two minutes into the second half. Substitute Cole Palmer later equalised for England in the 73rd minute, but an 86th-minute goal from Mikel Oyarzabal gave Spain a deserved victory.
Following the outcome of the game, Soberekon took to his Instagram story to share a crying emoji.
