Georgia stunned 2016 champions Portugal on Wednesday to go to the 2024 European Championship’s second round and set up the competition’s final 16.
That marked the nation of the Black Sea reaching the finals of a major competition for the first time.
As one of the top four third-place teams, their win advanced them to the round of 16. On Sunday, they play Spain.
