Brazilian midfielder Fred appears to have confirmed Manchester United’s acquisition of Altay Bayindir, the goalie for Fernabache.
The 30-year-old made two appearances for the team after moving from Manchester United to the Turkish giants in the summer.
Fred told reporters he wished the goalkeeper good luck ahead of a potential move to England.
“I wished Altay good luck when he left; he is going to join a great team. Altay will be happy at Manchester United.
“I gave him some suggestions about places where he could live, and I told him it rains a lot!”
After David de Gea left the club, the Red Devils began looking for a replacement. Dean Henderson is also expected to quit the team.
Erik ten Hag is eager to sign a new goalkeeper for Manchester United, but the club already has international goalie Andre Onana from Inter Milan.
According to reports, the 25-year-old Turkish international’s transfer to the club has been agreed upon for £4.25 million with Fernabache.
