FG, NLC Meeting to avoid Indefinite Strike action Ends in Deadlock

The meeting between the Federal Government and the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) to avert an imminent strike action ended on Monday without a concrete resolution to the union’s demands.

Simon Lalong, the minister of labor and employment, met with the NLC’s top brass in Abuja in an effort to prevent organized labor from starting yet another strike.

It’s anticipated that the conference will continue later.

On the other hand, the minister is also scheduled to meet with the TUC leadership today.

More details shortly….
