Finally, NFF accepts Finidi’s Resignation

Finidi George’s resignation as coach of the Super Eagles has finally been accepted by the NFF executive committee.

According to reports, the unsigned nature of Finidi’s letter prevented the NFF from first accepting the resignation.

However, since then, the resignation letter has been signed and distributed to every executive.

Finidi quit his post following the decision of the NFF to appoint a foreign technical adviser to boss him.

The NFF have announced they will hire a new coach before the 2025 AFCON qualifiers get underway in the first week of September.
